Finding Acquisition Targets in the Mining Industry

Finding Acquisition Targets in the Mining IndustryI knew it's a possibility. It's not much...really. But somebody like Hecla (why not? Greens Creek is literally right up the road) could make an offer and say..."tell you guys what. You keep and grow your AEG and continue doing everything that company was going to do here at Keno Hill and beyond. You guys take care of the remediation business and we'll be the silver miners and we're going to make you guys a deal for the whole kit and kabootal you just can't refuse..." Or something like that. Oh and why now? Because the company is never going to be as inexpensive as it is right now say you were looking to buy. Anyway, there's something to ponder...

And here's the quote:
"One exploration company that is very small right now, but just had a nice discovery and could be a takeover target, is Alexco Resource Corp. (AXU) (AXR:CA) in the Yukon," says Lin. "It is its own high-grade silver district. At some point, I think a bigger company will come in because it has huge potential."
