Reporting requirements

Reporting requirementsI have had two of my holdings take over other companies this week. One Silver Standard ( SSO ) reported the details of the transaction when they announced the deal. The other Vecima ( VCM ) announced the deal, however has not released any of the details. Both are publicly traded companies. Is there a requirement for a public company to release details of a transaction of this nature within a specific timeframe? Both are and continue to be long term holds.
