RE:RE:Do not sell your shares of MXI yet, offer from IMG comingNetgenx... I was amazed by that as well... plus... remember that interview after the Q3 conference call... it's so far back, but I think it was a BNN interview where they asked so whats going on with all the buyout rumours. They answered... such options would definitely not be pursued until more drill results end of the year. End of the year comes and they hang onto it. Then add Wilwal's point that historically Merrex always releases drilling plans for the year in January or February. Such plans were not released yet. You could connect the dots and come to the conclusion a buyout is near. Canaccord mentions it today. Plus... common sense tells you a joint venture partnership with a junior of quality usually leads to a buyout... just a matter of when.  The timing seems right the first half of this year with Gold sentiment bullish now and lenders back into the mining sector. The trend of joint-venture buyouts recently around PDAC seems to be paper deals, probably because all the miners are still in a bearish tight mode, as Wilwal metioned, in case this is just a dead cat bounce and we're back down to Gold $1,000.  So I can see why most are preferring to do paper deals. That's why I was intrigued by Chocolate1's prediction it would be a cash deal if it does in deed happen. All speculation and connecting dots from my end. But, this is an investment I'm good with, because even if there's no buyout, the drill results and increasing gold price would make this a solid longterm investment.
