Voya Asia Pacific High Dividend Equity Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is total return through a combination of current income, capital gains and capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in a portfolio of dividend yielding equity securities of Asia Pacific companies. The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its managed assets in dividend producing equity securities of, or derivatives having economic characteristics similar to the equity securities of Asia Pacific Companies that are listed and traded principally on Asia Pacific exchanges. The Fund will invest in equity securities and will select securities through a bottom-up process that is based upon quantitative analysis. Voya Investments, LLC is an investment adviser of the Fund.

I certainly agree that leaving Gdansk followed by a successful hook up and first oil is key here.

I also agree that a takeover would be more likely once FPF-1 is on the move.

I think we would make more money longer term if Ithaca stays independent, but the more immediate takeover gains would also come in handy.

If Ithaca sold on either FPF-1 sailing or first oil, what do you think would be the sale price would be at that point? I know that this question has come up before, but the medium term oil price outlook is slightly more bullish perhaps now.  My own view is that the Ithaca should not sell below its current Tangible Book Value, but I am unsure as to whether this assumption is realistic or not.  I would be interested in your view.
