RE:Humans tag : what's the value of Slyce tech ?You said you made up your mind not to buy SLC days ago. So what the hell are you still doing here repeating your flawed analysis. You are added to basher list......

Thanks for the patents sent previously, but I read somewhere that human were tagging the photos for Slyce and that Slyce uses mechanical turk. That means that most of time you take a picture, there is actually someone giving real time information on the object recognized : how does that scale up ?
If you check out competition such as Blippar (which does visual search as well as augmented reality and just raised over $54m USD at unircorn level according to TechCrunch: check out the Blippar App for AR and visual search experience), Cortexica (which according to their website raised £140m that means so much more than Slyce), CloudSight/CamFind app (which seems to have a database of over 227m images processed according to their website with an app CamFind which looks really user friendly), Visenze or even AIpoly (they concentrate on the blind but with their tech they could go into the retail field easily): all this competition seem much more automated - that is maybe why investors are pouring money into these competition companies when Slyce hardly raised $3.6m at a completely diluted capital valuation.
Slyce seems to have raised $30 USD approx (is that correct?) but their market valuation is below $13m USD : there really is an issue here. Slyce also raised less capital than previous rounds. The more I look into this company Slyce, the more it feels like institutional investors are NOT validating Slyce tech, strategy and management compared to competition. Even with a nice list of clients, Slyce is having a REAL HARD time funding its activities and massive burn rate.
I just checked out the GLASSDOOR website giving insight on how internal staff feels about Slyce management : comments of internal staff at Slyce are TERRIBLE. Even staff at Slyce is NOT validating its senior management.
I think I made up my mind : I am NOT buying shares even at this such low price as Slyce does not seem to be going anywhere
- institutional investors are NOT validating the tech mostly based on humans giving real time info
- internal staff and institutional investors are NOT validating management (check out GLASSDOOR for comments)
- Slyce has raised more capital than its current market valuation
- the BURN RATE although lower than previousl is MASSIVE
- the list of a handful of clients is nice (they have what 10 clients ? Blippar mentions on their website that they have over +1000 clients including P&G, Nestl, Coca Cola, etc) but the REVENUE is only MARGINAL and LOW : what the market potential of Slyce strategy ?
- there is apparently DOUBT over the founder's integrity (based on the arguments on this board but I know nothing about this guy)
Unless someone has good arguments to bring about this company and real tech, I do not think this company is going to be around in a year's time so there is no way I would buy shares even if it is cheat. At this market valuation, I could buy half the company but would loose everything if the company is not around in a couple of month because of HUGE COMPETITION with bETTER TECH and MASSIVE FUNDING at unicorn level.
Anybody can convince me to buying half this company ?
