Just sayingAir Canada has ordered 61 737 MAX and found the need to order 75 potential CSERIES. 
United ordered 75 old 737. 

United has a fleet size of 718 and will be at least 800 when they take back all regional from contractors. 

Air canada fleet is 171.

For some reason people think that  air canada has a larger need for single aisle then United?

Media reports that Boeing killed any chance with United. Media has zero clue in the needs of airlines. 

United is so faithful to Boeing? Why haven't they ordered a single MAX?

United has forced Boeing to talk about a possible partnership with bombardier. 

I'm not saying it will happen but it appears that they both need each other.
