United has a fleet size of 718 and will be at least 800 when they take back all regional from contractors.
Air canada fleet is 171.
For some reason people think that air canada has a larger need for single aisle then United?
Media reports that Boeing killed any chance with United. Media has zero clue in the needs of airlines.
