RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Results OutIt would make sense for Nucor but it wouldn't be allowed by US anti-trust laws.  Canam has about 10% of US joist market & Nucor's Vulcraft division has over 50%.  That would give Vulcraft too much control.

Nucor could of course supply Canam with most of their structural steel requirements.  Canam should have fabricated somewhere between 450 & 500,000 Tons of steel in 2015, most of which Nucor can produce. 

Canam is controlled by the Dutil family who have just under 20% of the shares.
Can't see them ceding control unless the offer was huge. 

It would sure make the shares fly.
