RE:NXE deposit at risk???GreenArrowUp wrote: Does the resource have tremendous potential to grow?
If one could picture the maiden resource as a vertical slab of solid mass with some drill holes spaced out 50 meters apart and the mass is estimated at 200mil of very high grade-- Ok so we will say everyone believes that NOW my question is other then to hit more tonnage outside of this slab then how does NXe grow to any great size
I believe the only good surprise on the main (lets call it the slab ) is if the grades are hughly higher as everyone here seems to think it is a given that the slab is solid with no gaps and continues on the madien grades( what if there is some dudes or much weaker grades ? what happens then
love to hear any opinions
First, in the maiden resource calculation, the grades away from each drill hole were adjusted by the distance cubed. That means infill drilling will increase the resource by 1/3 just by drilling and confirming continuity. So far, infill drilling suggests that about 100 million pounds will be added simply by infill drilling.
Second, infill drilling is finding more high grade outside the high grade sub zone modeled in the maiden resource statement. This will add more pounds.
Third, infill and step out drilling will add more pounds to other zones.
Fourth, this does not include any discoveries at Bow or elsewhere on Rook I project.
To put it into perspective, In the updated resource statement scheduled for this fall, NXE's resource will grow by an amount more than FCU's total resource.
