RE:RE:RE:I reiterate...Visionary. Point taken. The comparison to Future Shop where I was alluding to when they doubled their sales force months before closing stores was an unfair comparison to make. But I still maintain my position that an increase in sales force is not a compelling argument that in any way supports that we will meet guidance. I have been following the cafepharma message board for a whlie - a site where pharma sales reps post (albeit anonymously). Valeant sales reps have been complaining since November that doctors have been locking them out - so it should not have come as a surprise on Tuesday when they recorded high inventories and it looked like people just stopped taking their drugs. Carving up the sales territories for existing Concordia reps will not be welcomed and will only distract from their physician partnerships. Just my opinion. here.

Sunshine7 has a point. Yes, sales reps are commision based and they wouldn't join a company where the prospects of selling a drug are low. This is NOT like Futureshop where your commissions are shitty and your market is limited to whoever comes to you. A good sales rep can walk away with six figures easily and increasing them allows you to talk to more doctors.
I'm excited for the call but given how the markets are reacting, even a SMALL miss and this will go south short-term. Luckily, the 1Q is coming up in May so shouldn't have to wait too long.
