RE:MassiSailor, my take on it is this: As part of the patent deal with WiLan, the probably negotiated a royalty-free license back to 3DGo/SIO to use the patents. This is fairly common practice. So even though they don't own the patents any longer, they can continue to use them for free but they can't license them to other companies (which is now WiLan's right). I think the money from the sale of the patents to WiLan and the furniture and fixtures from the office simply went to keeping the doors open so they can continue to look for a buyer. The fact that they cut Routhier and Choquette's hours back by 50% recently suggests that the number of potential buyers is quite small. From Deloitte's perspective, there is no incentive to act quicker since they're still pulling down their monthly administrator fee from the remaining cash. If they get as far as April 21 with no definitive deal, they will either extend the deadline for another 30 days or so if there is sufficient cash to fund the ongoing administrator fees and vendor payments, or they will call it a day with <$100k to distribute to the creditors. to="" distribute="" to="" the="">$100k to distribute to the creditors.>
