They didn't spend that much time or money on it compared to other companies, management tried to add shareholder value at very little cost, they failed to find a clear path to near term profitability from it. Abandoning graphene for now and avoiding dilution at a low share price just to waste millions of dollars on it was a sound decision by management. If the markets had been better and Alabama had a share price of a dollar or two and if there was lots of hot money in the market then maybe they would have done a PP to fund more graphene work. There is something different about the multi-layer graphene in Alabama which I will not even attempt to summarize but I would not be surprised to see something come from that preliminary work, but not for many many years.
