Companies like WTE that pay a divdendI agree with you Red_Deer, companies that pay dividends are the way to go, as one of my investing policies is to only buy equities that pay a steady dividend. But, I'm retired and age 65, so this rule of mine is not applicable to all. I am still hanging onto only 1,000 WTE as I sold the rest much earlier at a much higher price and damn glad that I did, as I don't think the SP will reach anywhere near it was just not too long ago (read in the high twenties and thirties). We may see twenty bucks, who knows, or in the event of a takeover, and I am always hopeful; then it would likely go much higher. Have a look at Enercare (ECI). If you like dividends (seven cents monthly) and it is a growing company that has just made an acquisition, then maybe ECI would be good for your portfolio, anyway, have a look and see what you think.
