Pan American properties - for Kootenay to choose from

Pan American properties - for Kootenay to choose fromAs part of the deal, Pan Amercian will present 4 early stage properties.  Kootenay will be allowed to select 2 of the properties.

It looks like Pan American has 5 early stage properties.  It is not absolutely clear which 4 will be presented to Kootenay.  Perhaps they will hold back Calcatreu - in Argentina.  Calcatreu has a really nice little deposit, with (I think) a feasibility study already prepared.  The problem is that the deposit cannot be mined currently.  The state (it is located in) has a ban on cyanide, currently.  it cannot be mined efficiently until that ban is lifted.

Let`s scratch Calcatreu off the list for now.

That would bring us to 4 early stage possibilities, as follows:

La Bolsa (Sonora, Mexico):

This is probably the most advanced of the 4 properties.  It has a resource already defined, but it is low grade.

``Silver and gold mineralization is present as epithermal disseminated iron oxides, veins, and stock work.``

It sounds bulk mineable.  There may be a chance to make it work, depending on how the deposit is positioned, strip ratio, potential to explore for more tonnage, how close to the surface, etc.

It has P&P Reserves of 15.6 tonnes of ore @ .63 g/t gold and 9.0 g/t silver.  Additionally, it has other M&I of 13.7 tonnes of .51 g/t gold and 7.6 g/t silver.

La Virginia (Sonora, Mexico):

``La Virginia is an exploration stage silver-gold property in Sonora, Mexico. Pan American acquired the property in 2012 through the acquisition of Minefinders. Silver and gold mineralization is present as epithermal stockworks, veins, and hydrothermal breccias.``

Waterloo (California, US):

``Waterloo is an exploration stage silver investment property located in the state of California, United States of America. Pan American acquired the property in 1994. Silver mineralization is present with a possible sedimentary exhalative origin.

The property is not considered material to the company and features low holding costs and the potential to add substantially to Pan American’s production at higher silver prices.

In 2012 Pan American undertook a small scale initial drilling programme which confirmed the high silver grades over wide intersections close to surface that were encountered in a more intensive drilling programme undertaken by Asarco in the 1960s.``

Pico Machay (Peru):

``Pico Machay is an exploration stage gold property in Huancavelica, Peru. Pan American acquired the property in 2010 through the acquisition of Aquiline Resources Inc. Gold mineralization is present as high sulphidation epithermal disseminations and veins.``
