RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Where We Are on TPW and Ogden

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Where We Are on TPW and OgdenDanke, Peschenko. I too bought at much higher prices years ago, only to suffer through the reverse split and sell my shares at pennies on the dollar. But the Teck JV has brought new life to TPW, and I believe we are about to finally cash in. There is an alternative to my original scenario that Teck has turned down CD's asking price on TPW, and so CD now wants to drill on Ogden to put some pressure on Teck to come to terms on TPW. It is also entirely possible that a deal is already in the works for TPW, with lawyers on both sides hammering out the details for the final signing after THO-LSG closes. What could actually be in current negotiations is the future of Ogden. Perhaps CD has asked Teck for a 50/50 JV on Ogden, or even a 30/70 JV and Teck refused based on the fact that EXS has done little work and no drilling yet on Ogden. On TPW the company has spent $25 million in drilling over 100 holes to confirm the HMC model . . . so they have earned the right to JV with Teck to officially confirm the model and do a buyout deal. At Ogden, EXS geologists can say it appears to be a lookalike to Lake Shore, and that the high-grade gold is at depth, but until that property gets drilled at depth this is anyone's guess. It's only a theory, and Teck doesn't want to shell out millions on a theory (that is EXS, the exploration company's job, LOL). Otherwise, EXS would be paying Knick in cheap shares and then simply flipping Ogden to Teck for big bucks . . . while Teck does all the drilling. It is very possible that Teck told Chris Dupont to go sink some drill holes and show us the high-grade core at Ogden . . . and then we'll talk a JV. CD talking to Goldcorp at PDAC was probably to gauge their interest, and also to help drive a hard bargain with Teck. That's why CD mentioned Goldcorp to Dr. Adler in his recent interview, to remind Teck that they aren't the only game in town. Teck already has its hooks into TPW, but Ogden is still 100% EXS. In a bull market CD would probably be getting multiple JV offers on Ogden given recent developments in West Timmins. But in the current market the cost-conscious majors are going to want to see the goods first, which means CD will have to drill Ogden first. Of course, if this were a screaming bull market, CD would have probably never picked up Ogden at such a bargain in the first place. Give credit to CD for working with what this lousy market is giving him, and for so far being one step ahead of the big boys. Hang in there, folks. Our time is coming. . . .
