RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Botswana updatethanks kodi, see this is where the nuggets of truth are valuable from detractors. Your point about us being explorers are true, but it is also true the treasury is getting dry and we have work to do to bone up our overriding concern, Chidlaik. Financing has been trouble for shareholders, the last rights didn't even get fully exercised, remember? Next one, if there is one, and I am now expecting another one, unfortunately, will crush the share price once again.
Spin this off, then raise money for Africa for a separate company, people have invested in Chidliak, like mil says, it is true, throwing it away on Africa pi$$es me off. If I want to throw cash at Africa with another company run by the Friedlands, then I can decide to do that. Africa is not the focus.
A million dollars thrown out the window is hardly prudent, the initial investment in Africa proved we were chasing rabbits down a hole, hold the leases, sure, but tell me this, what are we ever going to learn that DeBeers has not learned already, it is a krap shoot at best, a money pit at worse, we spent a half a million dollars to find that out, that is enough at this point in our history.
We need institutional support now, we need a partner, we need a mine, none of that is a given despite what posters like oiltar claim, bad decisions drive institutions away, partners away.
Save it for when we have leverage and profit in the bank.
