RE:RE:East Bay QC
RE:RE:East Bay QCBastilleD,
"Beyond me why these mining people express their interests for the whole world to see. I know in the farming community, a farmer wouldn't walk into the coffee shop and announce he's interested in farmer John's 100 acre parcel on the fifth concession."
Keeping quiet would certainly be an option in any negotiation. Some may want to say "bad things" about certain properties they are really interested to scare away potential competitors.
However in this case (thx Wolfin for the audio link), FF VP was very informative in his discussion of the general acquisition strategy and the company progress during the first year. There was nothing earth shattling, there is nothing in his talk that's is hidden from the public domain. The latest venture in the Qubec scene has been described in recent NRs (Clifton Star and Pitt Gold Property from Brionor). In the audio at around 8min mark Derek talked about the 10% Duparquet and FF interest in acquiring the other 90% (privately owned) and other properties in the area, if the price is right (sometimes, the price would be quite reasonable if the private owner likes the company negotiator...so, send in a good one after doing some checking, lol) . Everyone, especially people in the speculation business, would knowguess about this without Derek actually saying it.
In fact, the first thing I did, after a good listen of the audio, was searching for a claim map of the area to see ``who owns what`` around the neighbourhood. This information would hopefully reveal the missing pieces of the puzzle. One piece of the puzzle is the Duquesne-Ottoman property. If I were FF I would go for this piece to complete the picture, at least for this local area.
As far as the EXS's East Bay area is concerned, this is a potential acquisition target for this area, but it would be nice to know the size of the deposit and the metallurgy to determine the cost of recovery.
