Xandar! You're back! Just in time.

Xandar! You're back! Just in time.Genuinely would like to hear your thoughts on a few ideas:

1) How much direct relations, if any, would the UN have had in the entire process of this SDI in the DRC. i.e. they have many major organizations working in the DRC and the SDI aids all of these efforts. Obviously, if they are involved, then the World Bank will be as well; not the IMF however, correct? And if that's not too big of a leap to take, what's your insight into raising money through the WB and IDA, who loan out to countries such as the DRC interest free as their GDP is below minimum threshhold. Any more thoughts on the likely method of fundraising would be appreciated.

2) Guaranteed funding regardless of any suspension and/or termination of the project are in the DA's for the full amount. Post funding, would you agree we would be significantly derisked? In fact, that if the project were to terminate, our margins would significantly improve ;)

3) IGN FI has been working with Geographic Info in the DRC for 5 years, specifically with REDD+. They have heavy tracks in the Congo rainforest and extensive history in the country, with large relations to all UN organizations within the country, as well as with every major branch of the DRC government. And as you are aware, Airmap/Intermap scored higher than their parent's proposal for the SDI, when in fact, they were already completely established within the country. Now IGN FI actually signed a MOU with the IGC and will effectively be an aid to Intermap in the country. Should this not provide further confidence to us that it is possible to have stable and safe work within their country, even during a time of magnified conflict?

4) Wanted to touch back on that guarantee. Clearly, this guarantee alone breaks any argument that the census, the election and the fallout after the troublemakers were removed had/have any impact on this contract. Civil war is a different story at which I don't believe any of us are at liberty to be armchair investigators under the employ of Global Witness or Amnesty International, but I'm sure their counsel will be sought after. But primarily, considering this contract is ignorant of the political climate at this point is a big positive, no?
