Thanks for the post. I read an opinion piece on this last year. It looks like they were gazetted in March 2015 and are hoping to start in June 2016. Not sure if Intermap would have anything to do with this project or not. The entire funding amount for the project is N$45M (or US$3M). Here is a link to the 5 year strategy and action plan:
