RE:Colombian meeting today...

RE:Colombian meeting today...Great job as usual sailor8. The outcome of this meeting will be very telling. It is interesting that the Court refused to clarify their decision. They are obviously throwing the ball back to the government. If you do not like our decision, do something about it! Raising or adjusting the Paramo coordinates is certainly within government prerogative. Humboldt could be helpful in this regard.

Today is Dday for the 30 days to commence negotiations pursuant to the FTA. No doubt there have been discussions but we probably will not be briefed on what is happening due to the sensitivity of these negotiations. If there are no meaningful negotiations I would hope EOM will go straight to arbitration.

The affected communities will no doubt be putting significant pressure on the government. We can only hope government will make a speedy decision. I am certain the government want the potential arbitration off the books.
