RE:Reality Check - Time Frame To Dissolve a Public Companyenergyinv wrote:
I know that some of us in the .10 club are comfortable with siting tight, riding this fiasco out and eventually pulling in a modest 40% - 50% gain when the final cheques are issued.
Although there is a small chance that the BOD might surprise us all with some sort of intelligence and leadership and announce a new, exciting business plan,,,,But based on past performance the chances of this happening are nill to none.
So,,,,How long will it take to dissolve the company and pay out the shareholders under the dissolution scenario?
1 year after AGM to ratify the agreement and submit to SC for clearance. 1 - 2 years to follow through with orderly disposition under terms of ratified/SC approved agreement.
1 year of milking things out to the last minute
Total Estimated Time Frame to Complete Orderly Dissposition and Pay Out = 2-4 Years (depending on motivation of BOD)
Total Burn = 4 - 6 Million Dollars
For those of you in over .15,,,I wish you would have listened, ,,but,,, there's no class in saying "I told You So",,so I won't.
I hope Y'all are having a great day.
