I have seen many, even participated in some. Many / most were originally set up with the best of intentions; avoidance of annoying “noise” etc. All eventually produced disastrous results for the majority of participants as they all end up with what I like to call “group think” which leads to “financial blindness”.
Yes, SH has become a rather annoying place and not just because of its technical problems but because of multiple aliases, spam, posters with verbal diarrhea etc but there are alternative open platforms fully equipped to keep these annoyances in check while not curtailing the principals of free speech and equal access.
Those who have been in the markets for any length of time / familiar with EUO know where to find these platforms.
