RE:Any other guesses on this RS Split Scenario Will it be 2,3,4I don't understand all that fuss about Reverse Split. Really.
First it's not only the stock that is split or reveresd split, it's every thing that goes with and relates to it: options, warrants, etc...
Second who cares if one own 1000 shares or 500 shares, if both secures the same amount of earning in the company ? If a company has 5M$ in earnings and 1M share every share earn 5$ a share. If you own 1000 shares, these earn you 5000$. If a RS bring the total shares of the co to ½M shares and your count to 500 shares, you then earn 10$ per share and the exact same 5000$.
I don't mind to be given two eigths of a pie or one quarter of it!
The only thing this would collectively deprive us shareholders (including PL and everybody at the head of this co that own the exact same kind of shares as you do), is the swing that this stock will receive from here to the 10$ mark that make it accessible by the poooor institutional account unable or unwanting to buy under that price. If we spoonfeed those institutions, they will be able to buy our stock sooner. That might or might not be a good idea.
Anyway, everybody I talked to in the recent months at PLI won't even think about reaching NASDAQ until PLI's earning expectation is rock solid. Which a) might not even be this year b) seems a very very good idea. Many people here knows and fears what happens under NASDAQ spotlight if you fail at delivering: (hint: an ugly bloodbath). So we better be rock solid earning wise already when we go there.
Bottom line, unless there's a total WW financial apocalypse worts than 2008, I expect that we reach that 10$ organicaly far before we start being traded on NASDAQ.
My 2 cents
