The Greenland mining industry has through the True North Gems (TNG) got the country's first laboratory assistants trained with Mining school in Sisimiut. Two week course In cooperation with TNG started school the raw materials 4. April 2016, a team of 12 students from Nuuk with two weeks of intensive training in basic laboratory work directed toward the mining industry. Ad JOB: Two consultants/special Consul The course gave a deep insight in basic skills, working methods and security measures in a laboratory. Several tests performed The team learned about the Working Environment Act, legal information, control and traceability as well as responsibilities and duties. The students tested flasks, glass and equipment and performed interesting experiments in KTI-the high school laboratory. Trials which all fell successful. A course which can be used within the production of rubies, for example True North Gems-but also some kind of laboratory work. To ugers kursus I samarbejde med TNG startede Rstofskolen den 4. april 2016 et hold p 12 kursister fra Nuuk med to ugers intensiv trning i grundlggende laboratoriearbejde stilet mod mineindustrien. Flere tests udfrt Holdet lrte om arbejdsmiljloven, retsinformation, kontrol og sporbarhed samt ansvar og pligter. Kursisterne afprvede kolber, glas og udstyr og udfrte interessante forsg i KTI-gymnasiets laboratorium. Forsg der alle faldt heldigt ud. Ls: TNG-projekt luner allerede i de offentlige kasser Bredt kursus Resultatet af to ugers velser, prver og studier er et udfrligt kendskab til god laboratoriepraksis, sikkerhedsregler og brug af beskyttelsesudstyr. Et kursus som kan bruges indenfor produktion af rubiner hos for eksempel True North Gems - men ogs anden form for laboratoriearbejde.
