RE:RE:European Gold Forum - Kootenay`s Webcast PresentationHey Dosco,
La Cigarra will be a multi-decade (company maker) mine. The 63 million silver ounces is resource currently is from barely scratching the surface.
No drilling was ever done on the La Cigarra district size property prior to Northair coming along. Almost every single hole in the drill program - that produced the maiden resource - hit silver.
With silver being so widespread and abundant on the property, the feeder zones must be right there somewhere, either nearer to the surface or a bit deeper below surface - or both. The feeder zones will bring both high grade silver and tremendous volume.
The 63 million silver ounces currently in resource are located in San Gregorio and Las Carolinas zones - 2.4 km strike length.
High potential targets still to be drilled:
1) Ram Zone - 3.8 km long (high grade veins)
2) Nogalera - 1.0 km (high grade silver and high grade lead)
3) La Colorada - 1.4 km by 400m (potential large bulk tonnage gold and silver deposit - gold might be the main metal here)
4) La Borracha - 1.1 km
5) La Navidad - 600m
6) La Colorada North - 1.0 km
7) La Soledad - 1.5 km
8) Las Carolinas Southeast
9) Canyon Zone - 500m
10) Intrusive East of La Venadas
11) Skarn potential area
12) Along the (new) postulated 5 km intrusive to the south
13) Underground - Santa Barbara Mine (located 20 km south) goes down for well over 1 km in vertical depth. La Cigarra should have depth potential also.
This is why Kootenay wants to advance La Cigarra to production itself, and ensure 100% remains with Kootenay shareholders.
