RE:Amazing News !!! Anzaplan confirms high value products !!!DoctorFouad wrote: WOW what an amazing news release this morning !!! Anzaplan has just confirmed that our silica is suitable to produce a
variety of high value products similar to the range of products manufactured from the material mined by our neighbours at
Mine Sitec (a highly profitable mine for more than 50 years with 80 employees and more than 25million$ per year of revenues!).
Our silica deposit (77.3% of the entire thickness of the quartzite unit !) is now confirmed by Anzaplan (world leaders in testing silica) to be suitable to produce the following high value products :
Ferrosilicon and Silicon Metal : CHECK !!!
Container Glass (coloured & clear), Float Glass (window, automotive) : CHECK !!! Fibreglass (insulation & fabrics) : CHECK !!! Borosilicate Glass, Pyrex : CHECK !!! White Float Glass, Opal Glass, Crystal Glass : CHECK !!! Solar Glass, Borofloat : CHECK !!! Quartz Powder & Engineered Stone : CHECK !!! Silicon Carbide, Fused Silica, Sodium/ Potassium Silicate : CHECK !!! Ceramics (body & glazes) : CHECK !!! Fillers(paint, coatings, sealants, silicone rubber and epoxy CHECK !!! Even the remaining 22.7% of the material (lower grade) should be appropriate for certain construction purposes given its environmentally benign characteristics. And it is anticipated that selective extraction could increase the overall portion of the quartzite that meets the standards for high value applications. Even if we do nothing with the remaining 22.7% material, that is still a huge improvement over Sitec 40% reject numbers ! And thanks to more advanced sorting machines we could achieve even better ! Now time to find customers and sign off-take agreements !!! Roskill Market Study
Rogue has commissioned UK-based Roskill, a global leader in industrial minerals market intelligence, for a detailed market study of the North American market for Rogue's identified products. This study will be completed by mid-May (huge catalyst this will determine Prices of different products and identify our potential customers) and will launch the Rogue team into a series of product marketing meetings.
Representative Bulk Sample
(finished samples of products to be sent to potential customers, an important step to sign off-take agreements !)
As a result of the successful identification by ANZAPLAN of commercial applications for the Silicon Ridge quartzite, Rogue has begun the process of extracting a 1,500 kilogram ("kg") representative bulk sample from the surface exposure of the Silicon Ridge quartzite to be processed into a number of samples to be utilized by Rogue during discussions with potential end users and consumers of silica. Samples will include material potentially suitable for metallurgical grade silicon and ferrosilicon applications as well as glass, ceramics and fillers.
All products will be analyzed with regard to relevant product parameters, bagged and sent to customers along with a product specification sheet.
Managment is doing an amazing job, a very methodical high quality step by step impressive work. This is simply the most amazing news since the silica project started one and half year ago, we are finally derisked, our value per tonne is confirmed by anzaplan to be very high and next steps are to find customers and sign off-take agreements !!! while continuing the methodical derisking of the project :
Huge catalysts coming :
- Roskill market study : may 2016
- Producing samples of finished products to be sent to potential customers : may-june 2016
- NI-43-101 compliant resource estimate : june 2016
- PEA : September 2016
- Signing off-take agreements : may-september 2016
- Final decision to go to production : q4 2016
(I expect big serious investors, those who want to own a piece of what looks like to become a great business, to enter soon the game now that the project is finally derisked ! ) Happy silica investing to all and congratualtions to management and to long term RRS shareholders for this amazing news !
I can’t be sure but this seems to be the source of the
CHECK's I looked at the company’s presentation and I did not see anything like this.
The company presentation Certainly did not say Silicon Metal was a potential product, it did say Metallurgical Grade Silicon but that is not Silicon Metal, far from it.
Lots of other good products, but alas nothing worth $13000 per ton for sure.
