You say no similarities.....ok. Nortels first warning was they were late with there 10-K filings. Surprise, surprise so is this company. Filing late is always the first sign that a company probably has some shady accounting going on. If this company survives and Clinton wins the election, companies like this one are screwed. She specifically said she is coming after Val. But let me guess you have more financial pull than the us government. Safe to say you are a baggie that bought way higher than today's levels. For full disclosure I shorted this above $300 and have covered this month. Almost an 85% profit. Made my easy money and looking for the next pig to short. Can you please tell me how much you paid for this stock. Probably well over $100....am I right?
That's not true at all. You're just making stuff up. Nortel's market capitalization fell from C$398 billion in September 2000 to less than C$5 billion in August 2002. Nortel announced they would restate earnings in Oct 2003. The company was on its last legs long before the accounting issues came to light.
