I am not prescient, however, this stock has been " pinned " to a $41 cad close for 3, not 2 days: 22, 25, 26. The odds of that happening on an actively traded, inter listed stock are extraordinary. Someone can do the math if interested.

Anyway, I have only seen "pinning" used for new issue pricing, option expiry, or takeout multiple.
i only apply one activity relevant to CXR.

My interpretation, and maybe I am stupid, as more than a few have claimed, is that $41 cad is an anchor price to any bid. I choose two times the anchor for multiple reasons beyond the scope of this message.

Pinning is obviously only possible in the short term, therefore deal maybe close. However, I think amendments are desirable to be confirmed on Friday to proceed. Only an estimation.

I think shorts are misinterpreting this price action and adding to positions. I am not in agreement with that posit. Hey, but that is what makes a market!
