RE:RE:RE:RE:The Big Picture

RE:RE:RE:RE:The Big PictureChidliak will start with  2 pipes plus an underground at CH-6.

Beyond that, there is potential to bring in more pipes, open pit and underground.

500 ktpa mill size would be basecase.

Can they justify 1 mpta mill.
Can they justify a 1.5 mtpa mill.
Can they justify a 2.0 mtpa mill.

Then you have a Renard size mill.

I don't think you want to put in a 500 ktpa mill and then piece meal the throughput of these various pipes for 50 years.

NPV of CH-6 is going to make this a mine.

The question is whether it will be a 10 to 20 year mine life at a reasonable mill size.

It is possible..not sure when that will be answered.

Going from 500 ktpa to 2 mtpa slashes the operating costs and theoretically can bring in marginal pipes into the plan.

Interesting concept.

That might push a 1 mtpa mill for the PEA and if they do fall short of that...it is because of an economic trade off here and now..but the future will be quite different.

Reanrd has some nice big bulk stopes underground...Chidliak has 5 or 6 kimberlite pipes that can all be open pit. They are not physically constrained to ramping up production at Chidliak.

LONG...PGD
