RE:Quick summary of where ILC stands? compared to LAC,NMX,LIX?NMX is certainly the most advanced of the three. However, I do not like them as they seem to "overhype" their situation. Their DFS gave an NPV of 3900m$ canadian... Hard to believe.. But they are largely derisked have a MV of 250m$ which could easily rise to 600m$. So nice upside potential. The have a battery maker involved in the pilot plant which is good. But they are still looking for off takers.
LAC is very hard to read. This is a merger of Western (which was focusing on Lithium from Clay in Nevada) and LAC which was focusing on brine based Lithium in Argentina. They now focus on the Brine in Argentina which makes sense but it takes a long time to get a brine based resource into production. So I think they have a long long long way to go and I do not expect much SP action in the mean time.
ILC is currently focusing on their Mavis lake (proven) resource and they have Gangfeng (big Chinese LCE producer) as partner. They will try to get Mavis lake into production ASAP and I am pretty sure Gangfeng will support them strongly in doing so. They will most likely produce spodumene (with 6% Lithium) and ship that to Gangfeng in China for further processing to LCE/LiOH. This will give rise to a MV of 200 to 400m$. When they have this up and running they will start to focus on their Mariana project in Argentina (brine resource). This may add another 600m$ to their MV.
So from the three my preference goes to ILC. They have the shortest path to production based on simple mining stuff and have a strong partner for that. And for the LT they have a great brine resource in Argentina. Also their current MV is much lower then the other two whereas the MV potetial is about the same. So I have got my money on ILC! But as they say DYODD...
