RE:Why are algos allowed to see the stop losses

They don't really see the stop loses they see level 2 quotes and usually stop losses are placed at even numbers (never place a stop order with a number ending in 0 or 5 )
They will go after the next lower 5 or 0 and take out the stops.
If you are going to play the game learn the rules and stop winning.
Rember we are the little guys and we have to be smarter.

About today another rule applies. Buy on the rumor sell on the news.

I do not trade so my decisions are based on future assumptions.
