I would say either he got speech nervous or he had no points, he did not sound confident at all.
One thing for sure, he did not directly answer that he was shorting the stock for months. I understand this would be his way of making money, but if one person fundamentally believes the company's failure, at least that person would speak up openly, and freely without hesitation.
