RE:RE:RE:RE:Sure, Waiting Sucks, but....It has not been my experience either.  Particularly major news.  Most shareholders who attend AGM's often have substantial positions and it would be unfair to them to announce major news that they might want to act on.  Many cannot or do not trade by smart phone and it would disrupt the meeting to announce something significant and have some in the room have to leave to make a phone call.

That said, something seems to be up with JV partner, there is nothing but bad news as the Albanian government is starting the process to retake the oil leases that supposedly sold.  They are in $ default in many ways yet the stock is up substantially in price and in volume the past few days.  It could be rumors of a sale, that may or may not affect VLE or could be rumors of the Y-1 well that is just meters from JV property and any good news on that would greatly affect TAT/TNP share price, particularly news of the shale play.  The Viking crew and equipment working Y-1 is the same that works the JV and TAT/TNP leases. Or the move with TAT from .71 Monday to a high of $1.20 today could just be a fluke.
