They're going to take 1.82 million oz of gold out of the grould at Kalana over 18 years. (The first year will produce 203,000 oz.) As an investor, I'm interested in the long-term well-being of the community there - not taking all we can as fast as we can. I don't invest in miners if the community or communities nearby aren't in favour or won't benefit. Avnel has shown they care about the community by keeping the people employed in the underground mine, even though it wasn't quite profitable. This kept the community happy leading up to now. I'm happy with the planned pace of production.
