TekView, Let me take one crack at this, as I know other Stockhouse users have. I do believe that technical analysis often works. It may be natural or organic, but I also believe that with so many day-traders aligning with it, technical trading becomes a "self-fulfilling prophesy". With all of that said...it will not work with Encanto while they do not have a producing mine. Why? Because Encanto will be driven by sudden, and frequent press releases. Each revealing a new valuable part of the puzzle. Let me provide you with technical analysis. When Encanto has a significantly positive press release the stock will explode significantly and the retrace down about 50% of that pop, and then slowly grow back to where the original pop was. The trigger event is not predictable. We do not know what and when these releases will occur. Hence trying to follow technical analysis for this stock will mean that traders may be off the gravy train, and miss the real journey. Your approach is the difference in trying to make some money for a 2-4 of beer, and trying to generate true and life changing profit. I understand your passion with technical trading...but please be aware of the limitations. Technical Trading is not a "fill all" mechanism.
