The investment seeks the daily changes in percentage terms of its shares per share NAV to reflect the daily changes in percentage terms of the spot price of light, sweet crude oil delivered to Cushing, Oklahoma, as measured by the daily changes in the price of a specified short-term futures contract on light, sweet crude oil called the Benchmark Oil Futures Contract, plus interest earned on USOs collateral holdings, less USOs expenses. USO invests primarily in futures contracts for light, sweet crude oil, other types of crude oil, diesel-heating oil, gasoline, natural gas, and other petroleum-based fuels.

I have to admit I'm a bit surprised it's fallen this low but

I have to admit I'm a bit surprised it's fallen this low butI guess a 100 to 1 roll back will do that. The concern must be that maybe the Co. won't be able to raise the full $ 12.8 Million and although they have a back stop agreement for US $ 7.5 Million that may not be enough and they will have to do another round post roll back. Maybe another @ $ 1.50 which is where the rights issue was priced pre roll back.
Some big players have lost some big money on this so far but at least they are prepared to average down. It will be interesting to see where this settles out after the roll back.
