IF Kirkland Lake is eventually bought out, I would expect an offer above $15 as the Acquiror will probably not want to take on any debt.

I purchased a few of the A debentures about a year ago for my income portfolio - good yield to maturity (around 9 %) with a free long term option on KGI.
I also held the Lake Shore Gold debentures but they are now gone.
Happy to ring the cash register but I am now looking for some new yield candidates.
