Some of these funds have rules for trading when a stock is breaking down technically, no questions asked, they'll start to exit. If it wasn't for the " leaked" buyout rumors which conviently hit the newswires when the stock was breaking the $30 support level last week could have been armageddon. This weeks close was actually below the 200 week moving average which may be a sell signal for even the most patient of funds.
