RE:RE:RE:RE:And Marty Beard is proof this company hasn't changedutter bs....Chen has stated the new Blackberry OS 10.x is with gov't and telco's for certification, which is expected later this year. Chen also stated 2 new OS 10.x devices are possible in 2017....Blackberry will retain OS 10 for enterprise. The android is an attempt to get a piece of the consumer market and at the same time, introduce consumers to great OS 10 features like Hub, Calender, etc.

IF it hadn't been for him the company likely would've been gone by now, or MAYBE who knows, the price would've been higher in a buyout and investors would be better off today.
Chen did a fantastic job stabilizing the books. His single mistake, but it is a critical one, is the shift to Android.
After PRIV failed to sell, after he saw the impact to the brand [the decline in BB10 sales] he should have quickly pulled the plug on all things Android across the business so as to protect the brand and stop the bleeding to their dwindling BB10 ecosystem. Instead he stubbornly stuck to Android.
It will be their undoing and after the cash is depleted it will lead to bankruptcy. That, or a distressed sale.
He has to do a complete 180' asap, or better yet offer his resignation for the greater good of the company. In my opinion.
