Its 100% owned Karowe mine is a producer of large Type IIA diamonds, more than 10.8 carats, including the historic 1,758 Sewelo, the 1,109 carat Lesedi La Rona and the 813-carat Constellation.

Also, by selling the second biggest diamond in existence with the stated aim of having it cut means that whoever buys Lesedi has a bit of leeway on ther record.

ie it may be able to cut Lesedi in such a way that it still remains the largest even when cut.
