RE:FCU is risky

RE:FCU is riskyAll stocks are risky - Nortel a classic one

100's of oil stocks over the past year

NXE obviously in a hineymoon state, just like Fission was

Option debate there creating some consternation tho, will shareholders now through their wedding ring stocks in the river? lol

Some posters yaking 600 million lbs, pie in the sky, not the reality though

The wire frame models by RPA captured the hi grade zone in the inferred estimate, and infill drilling since will be included in the estimate.  Some folks think the infill drilling is adding to the inferred, and that will not happen, as its already included.

But there have been some holes that have gone outside the periphery of that hi grade zone and the wire frame models to add lbs around the hi grade zone, plus the stepout and its infill back northeast to the hi grade, plus the A1 zone.

I would generaously estimate the inferred might be around 250 million, but not 600 million.

However, believe whatever, lol

I was almost wrong once, lol

I know that none of us want to think of FCU as a risky stock but it is. There are 4 major issues of concern. It is apparent that these issues are contributing factors to some degree to the very poor share price.

1. The spot price continues to remain very weak. The glut of uranium in the market keeps pushing the recovery further away. We could easily be 4-5 years away from any real upward movement in the spot price. As one analyst said earlier, these things tend to move slower than anticipated. Perhaps we should not count on the spot price to be a serious catalyst.

2. Many things can happen in 4-5 years. Every day we have to pray and hope that no natural disaster comes along to cause another Fukushima. Another earthquake and tsunami in a nuclear power producing area would be devastating, especially if there was loss of life or major radioactive contamination. Such an event would cut FCU's share price in half and likely put the nuclear industry out of the energy business for many many years to come. The public outcry would be enormous and forceful. Solar and wind would get a huge boost and carry the game.

3. Natural disasters are part of life on this planet but another potential risk to nuclear energy is terrorism. So far, we have been lucky but the chances of a terrorist causing a major nuclear problem are quite real. Again such an event would create havoc in the nuclear industry. We would not live long enough to see a recovery from such pain.

4. Management to this point has not been a positive for FCU share price. Bonehead Donald Trump  public remarks have hurt the image of the company. Dev's early downplay of NXE's find was really a sad effort.

Investors want safety and a solid prospect of a gain in shareholder value. It is obvious that the investing public doesn't have FCU at the top of their list for participation in this risky business.
