The group is a US Hedge Fund, so they're not interested in investing with Trez for the long term.  They accumulated a large position well below current levels and then advocated for the wind-up.  They'll likely succeed, then onto the next.  This method is good for a quick buck, but it's not aligned with longterm sharedholders who want access to the very few TSX listed MICs for their registered accounts.  I'll take the wind-up since my average price is in the  $7 range, but we'll be losing another MIC and it's unlikely that others will list since it's been a rough ride for many.
