RE:RE:RE:RE:SELL KDI AND BUY THISBrit, you are absolutely correct about KDI being in the exploration stage. However, I am very impressed with the discovery of 5 kimberlite bodies at KDI, and the heavy drilling and sampling of these bodies. With a preliminary estimate of 13 to 16 million tonnes of kimberlite at 2 to 2.25 carats per tonne, KDI has the potential to have between 25 and 35 million carats. This is almost half as big (optimistically) as Gahcho Kue. I have heard a preliminary estimate of $70 per carat, but we will get a much more accurate estimate form all of the recent samples (including the major bulk sample at Kelvin North). Plus, the drilling and sampling of Faraday 3 and Hobbs is just getting started.. It is possible that KDI will be big enough to stand on its own, but the proximity of Gahcho Kue's processing plant will be an added benefit. I will continue to add to my KDI position very slowly, with most of my money going to MPV.
