PotentialInteresting conference call. He said that there was potential for APV to move into the space left by Polycom (after its acquisition by Mitel). Polycom provided asterisk-sip (?) phones to many of the major players (mitel, cisco, nec, ...) but now many of them would see Polycom as a competitor, so that particular niche needs filling, and he thinks that APV is well-positioned.
He also thought that there was a potential for 200,000 phone sales through NEC, which at $150 per phone would come to 30 million dollars in revenue. But significantly more money will be made from the apps that could be downloaded for the phones. Also, APV is not restricted to working with NEC.
