I don't think any of the longs here would disagree with your reasoning. What you are saying has been said over and over again, over the years, by many here including myself. Unfortunately, the airline industry does not seem to use much logic in their decison making. The reality is that they are moving at a snail's pace in implementing such technology. This may change in the future but when that will be is anyone's guess.
