RE:What is the likelihood of a news release before AGM? Any likelihood for news will come the week of the June 9th shareholders meeting.
I don't expect news now simply because it's the end of the month and holiday weekend and here in the states on Monday where the markets are closed, so it really will have 0 impact if news was released so it would just be a wasted event.
Now I read the Annual Meeting report and rather than talk about the usual items in such report there is a couple of issues worth mentioning of one being, the Election of Francois Biron to the board. This is important as this individual brings a wealth of experience on all fronts of mining including the environmental aspect. So this is about the most important part of this. The other is the figure of O/S which as far appears to remain another positive.
So in all a normal meeting but hardly a company that is having major issues.
My belief is if this company was floundering Mr. Biron would not seek reelection. This man has just too much credentials on the line to remain in a company if it wasn't going anywhere.
The week of the June 9th meeting will be the bounce you want and if any news is pending it will be 2-3 days before the June 9th meeting.
