RE:RE:Another report about the Court decisionIndeed, another great find sailor8. However, I do not share the enthusiasm over this decision. 

The government will need to craft the procedures and guidelines for the municipalities, that will take some time. What is the extent of the municipal jurisdictions? For example will Califirnia, with a population of 2000 have to consider the position of Baccarumanga, a city of over a million? We all know how they feel about mining.

The elephant in the room is still the Constitutional Court Paramo decision. Can the municipalities override that decision, There would be serious legal challenges if they did. I am afraid there is no smoking gun to help EOM. This is all pure smoke and mirrors, we have seen this B movie before.

I hope EOM goes full bore to arbitration, if Santos throws in the towel to EOM benefit, we would all be happy but I would not hold my breath.
