I was also present at that meeting. At the time Lorenzo was an unkown amongst shareholders. Today thousands of  people view the Orbite forum which he helped to create and many shareholders know Lorenzo and appreciate his efforts and will vote in favor of him. Back at that meeting Lorenzo was voted down because RB  did not support his candadicy and at the time RB was very popular with us shareholders because of all the BS he had shoveled to us and the market which had brought  up the SP to spectacular highs. In my and many other investors opinion Glenn Kelly would be making a mutually beneficial decision to support Lorenzo's nomination to the board.
