RE:Smart money says political risk exagerrated!I agree mostly. Doubt there will be civil war. Bit of a mess for the rest of the year IMO for Congo. If they get through this even with a clumsy transfer of power, I will load up. I can't stomach the risk for the time being though. It's getting more and more attention in mainstream news lately. IVN will suffer some negative headline risk short term.

Here is a good recent article on possible targeted US sanctions on Kabila. UN Sec General aware and quoted as well. More news out of US congress on Congo expected later in June. I wonder if they sanction Dan Gertler?
