Bombardier round 2

Bombardier round 2Bombardier and the new leadership made it through the past year and survived. In fact the C Series is now a major contender. Here's what I'd love to see next: 1. Fleet penetration - get the cs100 and cs300 entrenched in key fleets around the world (in progress) 2. Recapitalize - this could come a variety of ways but my preference would be: an IPO of the rail unit with existing shareholders getting 1/3 of shares in the new company ($2 billion USD raised), keeping the Quebec investment ($1 billion USD), and Caisse exercising their share options ($400 million if I remember correctly). 3. Product development - cs500 and global 7000/8000 first, then replace Q400 and CRJ with game changing turboprop up to 100 seats, then complete Learjet 85. Canadian government to invest $500 million in R&D for each of CS500 and Q500. With these moves Bombardier could move from struggling 3rd player to the leader in single aisle commercial planes and business jets while setting rail up for continued success. This is my wish. This
