meg will go up when brokers start to pump itright now they are dissing MEG so the price will fall or at the very least not rise with rising oil prices.
Once the brokers/banks fill their coffers, then they will start to pump and distyribute MEG shares.
I can't say when, maybe before q2 release if they expect a better quarter.
it's very hard to explain daily oves in any stock and especially by comparing it to another stock.
they are different animals all together.
the analysts don't like the debt and that is keeping them from recommending MEG to their clients.
BUT the key here is the quality of the assets, which are very high quality, low cost and low maintenance capital, so they will get bought out. there is someone out there that is slowly accumulating a position without affecting the SP too much and when hey get to 10% we'll hear about it.
MEG is worth far more than what they are trading at because they have apporvals to increase produciton to 225,000 at christina lake and there are a lot of cash rich companies that would love this asset.
but things take time
